There is a part-time Animal/Dog Control Officer position available. The position is for three hours on Saturdays and Sundays (split to be 1 ½ hours each morning and each early evening) plus on-call duty 24 hours each day. Additional hours available to cover sick/vacation time of full-time Animal Control Officer. The job includes: feeding and caring for impounded animals; cleaning of kennels, cages and shelter; catching and impounding any loose/stray animals; completing all appropriate paperwork. The position is paid $15.42 per hour.

PARKS-N-RECREATION AND LIBRARY BOARD VACANCIES
The Town of Woodbury is soliciting letters of interest from residents that would like to volunteer to serve on the Parks-n-Recreation Commission or the Library Board.
Letters should be submitted to the Town Clerk, Desiree Potvin, by October 31, 2014 at 4PM. Please be sure to include your mailing address and telephone number to be contacted for an interview. JOHN P. BURKE MEMORIAL
FUNDRAISER - PASTA DINNER
The John P Burke Memorial Committee has planned its first fundraising event!!!
A pasta dinner will be held at the Highland Mills Firehouse/Village Hall on November 1, 2014, 5PM – 8PM.
Each ticket costs $10 and advanced sales are available at the Woodbury Town Clerk’s Office. Tickets will also be sold at the door and “to go” meals are available as well. Funds are being raised to place a memorial at the Central Valley Pool to honor past Supervisor John P Burke, who passed away on July 29, 2014, and to award a scholarship to a Woodbury resident.
