The Village of Woodbury Water District is forced to impose water restrictions until further notice.

Please conserve water whenever possible.

Outside water usage only allowed between 7 - 9 PM

Violators are subject to $100 Fine

SCHOLARSHIP ESSAY CONTEST

If you are a female High School junior or senior, class of 2010 or 2011, you are eligible to participate in the NFWL-NRA 2010 Bill of Rights National Essay Contest. Winners to receive $3,000 college tuition scholarship & more.

LARVICIDING MUNICIPALITY OWNED CATCH BASINS

The O.C. Dept of Health has contracted to provide larvicide application to municipality owned catch basins. Larviciding in Woodbury will begin the week of July 1, 2010. They will be in vehicles identified as belonging to Pestmaster Service and workers will be carrying identification.

Mosquito experts from Orange County Community College will continue to trap throughout Orange County until October 2010.

Please be advised that data collectors and their supervisors will be out collecting data to be part of the 2010 Census in many areas, including the Town of Woodbury from Thursday, April 29th until the completion of the operation.

Estrada Road is closed indefinitely between Valley Avenue and Abrams Road. Local traffic only — detour signs will be posted.

Traffic is not prermitted on the bridge over Woodbury Creek.

Notice from the Highway Department

1. LEAVES AND BRUSH will be picked up each Monday (weather permitting) until the snows starts. We will not remove bags with grass clippings, dirt, or rocks. Only leaves, small twigs and weeds are allowed.

Brush needs to be stacked neatly with the cut ends of the branches facing the road.

2. STARTING NOVEMBER 15, there will be NO PARKING on any Town Road during inclement weather.

Vehicles will be ticketed and/or towed away at owner's expense.
