IMPORTANT NOTICE

The Orange County Department of Health has contracted with a service to provide larvicide application to municipality owner catch basins. The larvicide to be used will be Altosid (methroprene) bisquettes. This will prevent mosquito breeding in the catch basins.

Pestmaster Services (firm the county has hired) are scheduled to begin working in Central Valley and Highland Mills in June or July.  Their vehicles will be clearly identified and workers will carry identification.

THE 2010 CENSUS

Every housing unit located in the Town of Woodbury will be visited by a U.S. Census Bureau Employee between April and July of 2009. These census employees will wear official identification and carry hand-held computers. If someone approaches your home saying they are from the U.S. Census Bureau and does not have proper identification, please ask them to leave and call the police immediately.

The information which is provided must be accurate in order for Woodbury to qualify for a variety of programs.
