WINTER WEATHER NOTICE
Beginning November 15 thru April 15, The Town prohibits parking on town roads during inclement winter weather. This law enables the Highway Department to clear the roads in an effective manner as well as to protect motorists and pedestrians. Vehicles in violation of this law can be ticketed and/or towed. Thank you for your cooperation.
Also please remove any and all obstructions from the road surface for the aforementioned dates. Eg: Basketball hoops, hockey nets, garbage and recycling cans. The Highway Department will not be responsible for any damage done to these items during our snow removal process.
SNOW ON ROADWAY
Section 1219 of the Vehicle and Traffic Law Section 214 of the Highway Law of New York State, specifically prohibit the placing or leaving of snow, ice or other substance, upon any Highway (which includes pavement, shoulders and ditches.

Please be informed that all "County Waste" bins, both refuse and recyling, are to be removed from the street immediately after collection (no later than midnight of collection day). Thank you.

GARBAGE & RECYCLING SCHEDULE
Garbage and recycling pick-up is now automated. Please use the new County Waste carts.
These containers (known as TOTES) have been delivered to each family in the Refuse District.
Keep all containers at curbside, not in the road, and remove them the same day.
PLEASE NOTE:
The cart with the BLACK LID is for Trash. The cart with the GREEN LID is for ALL YOUR RECYCLABLES.
