ROUTE 105 CLOSED

Please be advised that Route 105 is closed until further notice from the Hightland Mills Library / Senior Center towards Monroe up to Ridge Road due to Hurricane Irene damage.

- ATTENTION -
APPLIANCE GRANT PROGRAM

Grants will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis to those impacted by Hurricane Irene and Tropical Storm Lee for the most critical energy-efficient equipment and appliances (refrigerators, boilers, washing machines, and furnaces). The grants will end when funds have been exhausted or 1/31/12, whichever comes first.

Eligible households must affirm that they have been impacted by the storms and must acknowledge that these appliances are not covered under existing insurance policies or FEMA assistance.

Applications are available at www.nysappliancerebates.com or by calling 1-877-NY-SMART (877-697-6278). This program will continue until all funds have been depleted.

2011 GARBAGE & RECYCLING SCHEDULE

Garbage and recycling pick-up is now automated. Please use the new County Waste carts.

These containers (known as TOTES) have been delivered to each family in the Refuse District.

Keep all containers at curbside, not in the road, and remove them the same day.

PLEASE NOTE:

The cart with the BLACK LID is for Trash.

The cart with the GREEN LID is for ALL YOUR RECYCLABLES.
