Orange County Approved “Single Stream Recycling”
What does this mean? No more sorting!
Effective immediately! Bottles, plastics, cans, paper and cardboard can all be placed in the same container. The carting company is permitted to use one truck for all recyclables.
Items are to be placed directly into the container. Do not use any plastic or paper bags when filling your container. No specific container is required, but it must have a lid to prevent items from falling out.
The schedule for recycling will remain the same as always. Every Wednesday for all residents in the Refuse District.
Please remember that your garbage cans need to have a maximum 35 gallon capacity and you must not exceed 5 cans. As always, all containers must be tightly secured with a lid.
