About Our Committee

The Beautification Committee meets the 1st Thursday of each month at 6:30 PM at 615 Rt 32 Highland Mills, NY(Town Hall). The purpose of the Beautification Committee is to enhance the beauty of town owned properties by keeping the areas attractive. It is comprised of a committee of volunteers who plant perennials throughout the town. Fall decorations are done in September/October. Winter decorations are done in December. Patriotic flags are placed on the monuments in each hamlet for Memorial Day, 4th of July and other appropriate times.
