How to Determine What to Recycle vs. Throw Away in Regular Garbage

Dear Woodbury Residents,

There is a new recycling application available on the Orange County website.  This application can assist everyone in determining whether an item you wish to dispose is recyclable.  Take a peak and see how easy it is to use!   

Remember why recycling is so important:  "it prevents pollution, reduces the need to harvest new raw materials, saves energy, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, saves money, reduces the amount of waste that ends up in landfills, and allows products to be used to their fullest extent."

Please note you can also download the application on your phone and take it wherever you go!
